Making DerbyEggs

Making DerbyEggs is something I truly enjoy doing.  Given that my activities have been so restricted because of my back problems, thank goodness I can still do the eggs.

I really enjoy working with colors; a never ending supply of color combinations.  Most all my yarn comes from Europe, their yarn is so nice; the texture is wonderful, many many colors to choose from, and the thought of ordering something from "over seas" puts some people off but it really doesn't take that much longer to get it and the postage isn't all that much higher than ordering something here in the US. I don't mean to offend anyone here in our country but the folks in Europe certainly have something on the US when it comes to manufacturing yarn.

Your DerbyEggs will be shipped to you 2-Day Priority mail.  I pack them special; the DerbyEggs are sitting in their own little nest of Easter Grass.  :-)  The past couple of years I have been acquiring as much Easter Grass as I can when it is marked down after Easter.  The Easter Grass is ideal packing material to use for the eggs and I can't help but get a chuckle out of it; DerbyEggs being shipped in a nest of colorful Easter Grass.  :-)
